Day 13 CV challenge month
I have just jogged round the whole 2.8 mile block for the first time. In truth my jogging pace was barely faster than a walk but I did manage to overtake several pedestrians (and thankfully no pedestrians overtook me).
Slowly but surely I nibbled away at the distance metre by metre - pace, breathing and heartrate consistent. I can hardly believe the improvement from day 1 when I was a panting, puffing, overheated mess after just 100 metres.
I believe it's the farthest I have jogged since I completed a half marathon in sixth form nearly 30 years ago. Oh boy! That's frightening. Where do the years go?
