I have decided to stop drinking caffeine in preparation for Kilimanjaro. My diet coke 'habit' is a particular problem that has to be tackled.
Being at high altitude is likely to result in extremely bad persistent headaches, I am susceptible to headaches in any case so suffering additional headaches through caffeine withdrawal is not a pleasant prospect. I am biting the bullet and going cold turkey.
From today water is the new caffeine.
