I've just tried to jog around the block and failed. How can it be that I can climb two mountains in a weekend but still not be able to jog a measly 3 miles. I'm wheezing like a 60 a day smoker.
The oxygen levels on higher Kilimanjaro are going to be 50% that here and my heartrate will double to compensate. I must, must, must improve my cardio vascular fitness.
So, I'm setting myself a target to do some kind of CV training for at least 30 minutes everyday for the next month. Let's see if it works.
