Muscle sandwich

The PT session yesterday focused on identifying, isolating, working with and strengthening the weak or inactive ligaments and muscles that are sandwiched between the overactive muscles in my body. 

The result was a low impact but intense workout of my ankles, knees, hips and arm sockets.  My inability to balance whilst half squatting on one leg doing bicep curls must have looked wholly unimpressive to other gym users but was actually surprisingly difficult. This whole fitness thing is becoming a complete pain in the calves!
