After a Boxing Day breakfast of two almond tarts and a mince pie I was ready for some activity.
Mark, Harry and I met Lisa and Justin and we set off on a walk along the river Deben. It was a lovely fresh, bright morning - perfect for 'blowing away the cobwebs'. A lot of the snow and ice had melted overnight leaving extremely muddy footpaths, we slipped and slid our way along for a few miles and then stopped at a pub for a welcome bowl of hot soup.
Predictably, our Christmas presents to each other were mainly things which will be useful for our Kilimanjaro trip.
Lisa & Justin gave our Christmas present to them a test run. It is no-stink thermal underwear, apparently you can wear it for 28 days on the trot without washing and still not smell. I'll give them a sniff test in a months time and let you know if it works.
I decided not to give their present to me a test run today - it is a She-wee. It allows a lady to maintain a bit of privacy when she gets caught short by enabling her to wee like a man (standing up). Thanks Lis & Jus - just what I've always wanted!
