Today, Lisa and I walked around the Woodbridge area again, managing to extend our route to 3 hours and 15 minutes (plus the obligatory 15 minute refreshment break at a half way point).
About half an hour in, Lisa, who is at a more advanced stage of fitness and also has the advantage of being three years my junior suggested that we jog. Taken by surprise, I didn't have time to think and not to be outdone increased my speed. The resultant motion was an uncomfortable 'something' in between a walk and a jog - more of a jolk - which looked and felt as it sounds - awkward. I only jolked for about 100 yards - that was more than enough to start with. My technique definitely needs to be honed.
