Caffeine & banana high

Banana day was a huge success.

First we had the coffee morning in the Seatons office.
Many thanks to my lovely friends for making a mouth watering selection of cakes and glittery buns. Thanks also to our local gentlemans club who donated the coffee and all of the crockery and equipment we needed.

After coffee Mark and I headed into Ipswich town centre dressed up as bananas to collect money for Macmillan. It was great fun and we received a warm response from the good people of Ipswich who were generous in their donations. Children were especially appreciative....lots of smiles and excitement. That is with the exception of Harry who thought we were a total embarrassment - at twelve years old most children probably think their parents are embarrassing - in this case I think Harry may have a point.

In total on the day we collected £580.31 for Macmillan.
