In October 2010 I climbed to the summit of Kilimanjaro and also achieved my goal to raise £10,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support. This blog is a full account of how, over the period of a year, I prepared myself physically also how I raised funds for Macmillan. I would encourage anyone who is even vaguely thinking of undertaking such a challenge to just go for it. Amaze yourself! I did.

Aping around
These are my fellow Kilimanjaro trekkers, brother-in-law Justin and my sister Lisa collecting funds for Macmilan Cancer Support at Tescos Copdock. For avoidance of doubt I should explain that Justin is the one on the left.
